HCC awarded the contract for the implementation of ground contact monitoring of the dam foundation and improvement of the drainage network at Peñarroya Dam for an amount of 567,329.69€.

HCC staff keeps working at Peñarroya Dam, where we are carrying out the implementation of ground contact monitoring of the dam foundation and improvement of the drainage network.
Work continues to progress according to schedule, as HCC has already executed the following works:
■ Drilling of reconnaissance boreholes for geophysical testing.
■ Installation of vibrating wire piezometers for underpressure monitoring.
■ Drafting of the underpressure report for the design of a new drainage network.
■ Execution of a new drainage network.
There is still plenty of work to be done, such as installation of extensometers or installation of gauges and joint meters, among other works.
